Born in Chicago
Rental apartment with brutal looks but a kind heart

It would be a crime to leave the luxurious panoramic windows overlooking the Olympic Stadium in just one room, so we made a redesign, turning an ordinary two-room apartment into a spacious studio with a master unit including a bedroom and a walk-through closet leading to the bathroom.
- Location:Chicago Central House, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Area:101 sqm
- Year:2020

For this apartment, we created a contemporary design with subtle yet clear hints of 1920s Chicago, including the famous Prohibition-era speakeasy bars. As a result, the gray walls combined with dark wood and natural stone, as well as copper in the decor and accent lighting form a somewhat brutal, but still extremely cozy interior.
